Press ReleasesThe big picture about climate change emerges from looking at small bivalvesFrankfurt am Main, Germany, 03/25/2019. Researchers from the Senckenberg Biodiversity and Climate Research Centre and collaborating institutions combined records of bivalves during the last 66 million years with models of global ocean temperatures. It turned out that the extinction of bivalves is related to the rate of climate change regardless of whether the climate warmed up or cooled down.
